Representasia Partners with Revenue Strategy Innovators Duetto in Southeast Asia


Bangkok, 16 February 2016 – Thailand-based hotel and travel technology specialists Representasia this week announced a partnership with Duetto, the market leader in hotel and casino profit optimization technology, to bring the company’s revenue strategy solutions to hotels in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.

Founded in 2012 by two innovators in revenue management and one of Silicon Valley’s leading technology executives, Duetto specialises in cloud-based revenue management technology designed to help hotels better optimize their pricing and increase revenue. The company’s GameChanger solution already has been implemented by hotels across the world, with some seeing YOY increases of up to 30% in revenue and 19% in ADR.

GameChanger is based on the new concept of Open Pricing, a flexible way to set rates so that all prices are set individually in accordance with demand for each aspect of the hotel, whether it’s by day, room type, customer segment, distribution channel or rate code. With Open Pricing, each room can be priced dynamically 365 days a year, giving a hotel every chance to convert a shopper into a booked customer.

GameChanger, like other revenue management solutions, integrates with PMSs and uses historical rates and current booking pace, but its real USP is to also incorporate forward-looking data such as look-to-book ratios from the hotel’s website, airline data, weather and much more. It ends up giving a more holistic view to the hotel of the property’s true unconstrained demand, and revenue managers can then be more accurate and confident in the rates they set for rooms.
